Old Pack Horse Bridge
Built in the eighteenth century. Why?
To get to the other side of course

Culloden
For those of Scottish background the history of this defining battle is well worth studying.
Not just the Outlander version
Now a designated war cemetery and it once again shows the sadness of battles then and now

Bow Fiddler Rock
Portknockie.
We could have sat for ages just watching the world go bye.
The fishing boats heading out to sea and the birds circling and dancing around the rock

I think I could wake up o this view

Portsoy
Would never have visited this delightful port town if it was for a posting on the 5000 Poppy project.
Thank you Janet. You live in an amazing part of Scotland
