Millau Bridge

A feet of engineering stretching across the valley of the river Tarn.
The toll to cross is 7 Euro($10 AUD) one way .
To do both ways is a little tricky as we found out.

Its a long way to the top of the highest pier 300 plus meters above the floor of the valley.
It is the highest bridge of its type in the world. Higher than the Eiffel tower
As you stand at the viewing area beside and at the top of the bridge you get the full expanse of the way it stretches across the valley. It has a slight incline towards the far end.
Large signs on the road way in french" NO WALKING ON THE BRIDGE"

Our treat for the night

And then add jet streams and another gob smacking view
